Whitelisting Instructions
Most email providers allow a way to mark email addresses and domain names safe.
Look for your email provider below, and follow the whitelisting instructions.
AOL
- Click Options in the upper right corner
- Click Mail Settings from the drop-down menu that appears
- Click Filter Settings
- Click Create Filter
- In the box labeled “Create a filter called,” type Tradesmith
- In the From box, after “contains” type the domain name exct.tradesmith.com
- In the “Move matched messages to folder” box, click New Folder and type TradeSmith, then click the + (plus) icon to create your folder
- Save your changes. Now your TradeSmith emails will go into your TradeSmith folder
Comcast/Xfinity
- In Xfinity Connect, click the Gear icon on the top right of the navigation bar and click Settings
- Select Filter Rules, and then select Add new rule.
- Type TradeSmith in the “Rule name” box
- Click Add condition and choose Sender/From
- Click contains and type exct.tradesmith.com
- Under Actions click Add action. Choose Keep
- Click Save to save your filter.
Earthlink
- Click the Address Book button in the blue Web Mail bar at the top of the screen.
- Click the Manage Domains button at the top of the page. The list of allowed domains will open.
- Click the Add button.
- Type the Company (Domain) in the text field
- Click Allow This Company (Domain).
Gmail
- Open Gmail and click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
- Click Settings in the drop-down menu that appears.
- Click the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
- Click the Create a New Filter button.
- In the window that pops up, type the domain in the From field: @exct.tradesmith.com. To whitelist a specific email address, type the full email address in the From field: [email protected].
- If you don’t want to adjust any of the other options for a more specific filter, click the Create filter button, which opens an option screen.
- Place a check in the box next to Never send it to Spam.
- Click Create filter to save the changes.
Hotmail, Live, Outlook
- Go to settings gear icon> view all Outlook settings > Mail > Junk email
- Safe senders & Domains > click ”+Add”
- Type exct.tradesmith.com press Enter from keyboard
- Click Save.
iCloud
- Click the Action pop-up menu (gear icon) in the sidebar, and then click Rules.
- Click Add a Rule
- Specify the filtering criteria.
- To add more rules to the filter, repeat these steps.
- Click Done
MSN
- Go to settings gear icon> view all Outlook settings > Mail > Junk email
- Safe senders & Domains > click ”+Add”
- Type exct.tradesmith.com press Enter from keyboard
- Click Save.
Outlook and others
- Go to settings gear icon> view all Outlook settings > Mail > Junk email
- Safe senders & Domains > click ”+Add”
- Type exct.tradesmith.com press Enter from keyboard
- Click Save.
SBC Global
- From the gear icon in the top left of your inbox, select Settings.
- Select Filters.
- Select Add to create a filter.
- Select the conditions for your filter and where it will send the messages.
- When you’re finished, select Save.
Yahoo
- Click Settings or the gear icon on the upper right hand side
- Click on More settings from the menu that pops up.
- Click Filters in the left sidebar
- Click Add new filters to Your filters.
- Fill in the form that appears to the right
- Filter name: type TradeSmith
- Click the down arrow at “Select filter criterion” and choose “contains”
- Type a filter value of exct.tradesmith.com
