Whitelisting Instructions

Most email providers allow a way to mark email addresses and domain names safe.

Look for your email provider below, and follow the whitelisting instructions.

 

AOL

  1. Click Options in the upper right corner
  2. Click Mail Settings from the drop-down menu that appears
  3. Click Filter Settings
  4. Click Create Filter
  5. In the box labeled “Create a filter called,” type Tradesmith
  6. In the From box, after “contains” type the domain name exct.tradesmith.com
  7. In the “Move matched messages to folder” box, click New Folder and type TradeSmith, then click the + (plus) icon to create your folder
  8. Save your changes. Now your TradeSmith emails will go into your TradeSmith folder

Comcast/Xfinity

  1. In Xfinity Connect, click the Gear icon on the top right of the navigation bar and click Settings
  2. Select Filter Rules, and then select Add new rule.
  3. Type TradeSmith in the “Rule name” box
  4. Click Add condition and choose Sender/From
  5. Click contains  and type exct.tradesmith.com 
  6. Under Actions click Add action. Choose Keep
  7. Click Save to save your filter.

Earthlink

  1. Click the Address Book button in the blue Web Mail bar at the top of the screen.
  2. Click the Manage Domains button at the top of the page. The list of allowed domains will open.
  3. Click the Add button.
  4. Type the Company (Domain) in the text field
  5. Click Allow This Company (Domain). 

Gmail

  1. Open Gmail and click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
  2. Click Settings in the drop-down menu that appears.
  3. Click the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
  4. Click the Create a New Filter button.
  5. In the window that pops up, type the domain in the From field: @exct.tradesmith.com. To whitelist a specific email address, type the full email address in the From field: [email protected].
  6. If you don’t want to adjust any of the other options for a more specific filter, click the Create filter button, which opens an option screen.
  7. Place a check in the box next to Never send it to Spam.
  8. Click Create filter to save the changes.

Hotmail, Live, Outlook

  1. Go to settings gear icon> view all Outlook settings > Mail > Junk email
  2. Safe senders & Domains > click ”+Add”
  3. Type exct.tradesmith.com press Enter from keyboard
  4. Click Save.

 iCloud

  1. Click the Action pop-up menu (gear icon) in the sidebar, and then click Rules.
  2. Click Add a Rule
  3. Specify the filtering criteria.
  4. To add more rules to the filter, repeat these steps.
  5. Click Done

MSN

  1. Go to settings gear icon> view all Outlook settings > Mail > Junk email
  2. Safe senders & Domains > click ”+Add”
  3. Type exct.tradesmith.com press Enter from keyboard
  4. Click Save.

Outlook and others

  1. Go to settings gear icon> view all Outlook settings > Mail > Junk email
  2. Safe senders & Domains > click ”+Add”
  3. Type exct.tradesmith.com press Enter from keyboard
  4. Click Save.

SBC Global

  1. From the gear icon in the top left of your inbox, select Settings.
  2. Select Filters.
  3. Select Add to create a filter.
  4. Select the conditions for your filter and where it will send the messages.
  5. When you’re finished, select Save.

Yahoo

  1. Click Settings or the gear icon on the upper right hand side
  2. Click on More settings from the menu that pops up.
  3. Click Filters in the left sidebar
  4. Click Add new filters to Your filters.
  5. Fill in the form that appears to the right
    1. Filter name: type TradeSmith
    2. Click the down arrow at “Select filter criterion” and choose “contains”
    3. Type a filter value of exct.tradesmith.com
