TradeStops Newsletter Section provides you with access to your favorite investing publications – including many of the publishers and newsletters that you subscribed to. It’s also a great way to find new information.

Have you noticed the recent change, though? It’s called the Billionaire’s Club. We painstakingly comb through the most recently available data on the world’s savviest and richest investors.

Let’s go over how to access and analyze the Billionaire’s Club.

Accessing the Billionaire’s Club

The Billionaire’s Club can be found within the Newsletters tab in TradeStops. Once you click on the Newsletters tab (to the left of your name), you will see a list of publishers. The Billionaire’s Club is in the upper left corner under “Select Publisher.”

After you click on the Billionaire’s Club, it will take you directly to the list of portfolios. From there, you can add any of these portfolios into your TradeStops program as a watch portfolio. We’ll go over that process in a little bit.

Viewing the Billionaire’s Club Portfolios

On the left side of the screen, you should note the various portfolios provided. You can click on any of these that sound interesting. Then, you can start exploring the positions.

These portfolios come from companies that need to report their holdings on Form 13F with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). A company is required to file Form 13F if it exercises investment discretion $100 million or more in 13F securities. If you want to read more about this, click here. Knowing more about the holding process can give you more confidence in the stocks found within the Billionaire’s Club. Also, you can always research each of these companies if you aren’t familiar with them.

Analyzing the Positions

Once you find a portfolio that you are interested in, you can analyze the data. This will help you narrow down the information.

Just like in the Positions & Alerts page, we give you the latest close price, the VQ%, the SSI, and the SSI stop price. In addition to that, we show you how many shares of these various positions the investment company owns, what the company has recently done with those positions, and the reference points. All this information in combination can give you an idea of which positions are performing well.

Remember, any stock with a VQ more than 30% is considered high risk. The SSI will tell you if the stock is performing well (green) or stopped out (red). The numbers and letters inside the SSI box tell you how long the stock has been in that state. These two proprietary algorithms take the guesswork out of deciding which investments might be good for you.

Adding Positions to a Watch Portfolio

Once you have selected your top picks out of one of these portfolios, you can add them to a custom watch portfolio. If you are going to add these positions to a brand-new portfolio, make sure to create a new portfolio before following the process below. You can read about making watch portfolios here.

Once you have your portfolio set up, you can add the positions. You will do this while in the Billionaire’s Club. Take the following steps:

  • To the left of the ticker symbol that you like, click the plus (+) sign.

  • A new screen will appear. Fill out any blank boxes and remember to choose the portfolio where you want this position to be located.

  • Click Save and Close when you are done.
  • Repeat this process for each position that you are interested in.

If you remember each of the ticker symbols that you like, you could always click Save and Add More instead. You would simply have to type in the other ticker symbols one by one until you complete your list. Either process will work.

After you click Save and Close, you will be brought to the Position Card Page. Please note that an alert will not be automatically added for these new positions. You will need to add alerts for these positions. That is done from the alerts subtab in the Card Page. Just click the add alert button and follow the prompts.

If you see a screen asking for login credentials, instead of being brought to the list, this means that you are not a Lifetime member. That’s okay; we have a special offer for you.

Once you have completed the setup of your alerts, you can review the positions that you added to your new watch portfolio. You can always add and delete positions from this portfolio as you see fit.
