Ideas by TradeSmith
Starting tomorrow, you will see some big changes in your Ideas by TradeSmith program. We think that you’re really going to like them.
We’re expanding the Market Health section to include more indexes, new insights into the S&P Sectors, and a brand-new Commodities section. TradeSmith’s Lab will also see some new enhancements with several new investment methods. We’ve also added a new Newsletter center and added some fantastic new features to the Stock Finder.
Be sure to watch for future Insider Updates. We’ll be covering the new features inside Ideas 2.0 over the coming weeks.
On Nov. 7, our education specialist Marina Stroud walked our users through the basics of TradeStops. She covered everything from setting up your portfolio to using our research tools to find new positions. The replay for this webinar will be emailed on Nov. 9 to all who registered.
We’ll briefly recap what was covered in the webinar now, though.
Inside the TradeStops program, there is a black menu bar on the top of the screen with several options.
- Welcome — displays your dashboard, which shows basic portfolio information, recent triggered alerts, and your top five winning and losing positions
- Positions and Alerts — displays the positions that you own and watch along with your alerts
- Portfolios — displays your investment and watch portfolios
- Research — home of our Stock Analyzer, Position Size Calculator, Asset Allocation, Portfolio Volatility Quotient Analyzer, Pure Quant, and Risk Rebalancer
- Newsletters — lists our supported publishers, where you can sync your newsletters to the TradeStops program
Try accessing some of these features today. They can really get you on your way to becoming a more well-informed, independent investor.
Crypto By TradeSmith
The crypto space is always filled with lots of news. Many new alt coins and tokens are created daily. Exchanges list and delist cryptocurrencies regularly. Keeping up with all of this can be difficult. Luckily, there are resources out there for you.
On our TradeSmith University website, we provide a Daily News Round-Up. These articles will get you up-to-speed on the latest and hottest news topics in all things crypto. You can access that information here.
For more in-depth analysis, make sure to check out our Thursday Crypto Editorials. These articles provide research on crypto investment methods, portfolio management, and volatility assessments.
Most exchanges will include a news center. In these news centers, they will typically list the latest news for their exchange, such as listing new coins, delistings, and site improvements. For your convenience, here is the news center for two of the largest exchanges, Binance and Poloniex.
Did you know that a new Cold War is brewing? It’s true, and it can have significant consequences for investors. Make sure you’re in the know about this from our latest article.
With the increased volatility of the market, it’s important to have a stop-loss strategy in place. On Nov 28, at 1 p.m. ET, Tom Meyer and Marina will cover the importance of portfolio exit strategies.
We’re so looking forward to our event next week, Nov. 13, at 8 p.m. ET. Make sure to register for the event. You won’t want to miss this important update.
